Owlkemy's Candle Making Workshop brings your guests together for a hands-on, feel-good session where everyone leaves with something they actually made themselves — a candle they poured, designed, and can proudly call their own.

What makes us different?

Our workshops are personally led by Owlkemy Founder and Candle Artisan Katte Hibionada and isn't a watch-and-learn class or a self-serve kit. It's real, one-on-one coaching from start to finish, with every guest guided through the process of designing, pouring, and finishing their own 200ml candle to take home the same day.

The Experience

In just 1 to 3 hours, your guests go from raw wax to a finished, hand-poured, hand-designed candle — no experience needed! Every step is walked through live, with Katte and an on-site assistant guiding each student through mixing, layering, coloring, and finishing their own creation.

All materials are provided by Owlkemy and can be tailored to fit your event's theme — soft pastels for a bridal shower, bold branded scents for a corporate activation, whatever fits the occasion.

🕯️ Basic — ₱750 per head

(minimum of 10 students, 1–2 hours)

A guided introduction to candle making — perfect for guests who want a fun, creative experience without going too deep into technique. Covers candle design, mixing and layering, and live troubleshooting with tips and tricks.

🕯️🕯️ Premium — ₱950 per head

(minimum of 10 students, 2–3 hours)

A deeper dive for guests who want to explore advanced techniques and walk away with a more elevated, showcase-worthy candle. Covers everything in Basic, plus scent mixing, piping, and complex assembly with an advanced live demonstration and dedicated Q&A.

No matter which level you choose, every workshop includes:

  • Wax, 1 scent, color pigment, cotton wicks, 200ml jar, gloves
  • Pre-made candle embeds & mixing materials (cups, stirrers)
  • Step-by-step personal coaching, tailored to your chosen tier
  • Take-home guide sheet
  • On-site assistant

Premium workshops also include piping materials for more advanced design work.
